Design an easter campaign for ECO EGG’s Green Easter

Eco Egg Banner Art - Kelly Bird

The Green Easter Campaign was born out of a desire to intertwine the spirit of Easter with a message of sustainability and environmental consciousness. The goal was to create engaging content for the holiday that also inspires appreciation for spring and nature.

In this post I share the story behind my latest project, ECO EGG, and how artificial intelligence (AI) and Canva has transformed the way I conceptualise, create, and deliver my designs.

AI as the Catalyst

AI has become invaluable during the initial conceptualisation of the project. Utilising AI tools, I was able to generate ideas quickly saving time usually needed to research. After mixing existing elements I wanted to include with AI collaborative tools, the perfect concept emerged. This process, which traditionally would have taken days of brainstorming, was significantly condensed, allowing me to move from idea to creation with unprecedented speed.

Recycling past artwork

By Recycling past illustrations that I like, enhancing their quality and re-purposing them for the Eco Egg campaign, meant I didn’t have to start from scratch. This not only saved time but also gave me a starting point in the design process that resonated with the concept.

Canva

Enter Canva, the design platform that has become an indispensable part of my design process. Canva's intuitive interface and vast library of templates and stock images has proved to be a game-changer. It allows me to swiftly create a wide array of content while maintaining a high standard of design. The synergy between AI's rapid conceptualisation and Canva's efficient content creation has revolutionised my workflow.

Personal Growth and Evolution

The fusion of AI and Canva has not only streamlined my design process but also enriched my creative expression. Beyond the tangible benefits in time and efficiency, this project facilitated an evolution in my style and approach to design. With the burden of technicalities lightened, I found a greater capacity for creativity and exploration. My enjoyment and passion for design has reached new heights, fuelling my ambition to tackle new projects.

Conclusion

The future of design is here, and it's full of potential for creatives. As we continue to explore and integrate these advanced tools, the horizon of what's possible expands. Embrace these tools, let them fuel your creativity, and watch as your ideas come to life faster and more beautifully than ever before.

CREATE YOUR OWN:

 The Brief

With Easter around the corner, The Marketing Manager at a company that prides itself on sustainable and eco-friendly products has hired you to create their Easter Egg promotional campaign.

We want you to emphasise eco-friendliness, community, and joy. Think Easter egg hunts in community gardens, biodegradable Easter eggs, and families enjoying nature together.

REQUIREMENTS

Create a series of digital illustrations that can be used across various platforms (social media, email newsletters, website banners, and possibly printed promotions).

Please create key visuals for our Green Easter, “Eco Egg” campaign, including but not limited to: an engaging main box packaging design.

We'd love for it to also convey a sense of warmth, community, and sustainability with a quirky touch that makes the message memorable.

TIMELINE: Our campaign is set to launch in early April, so we would need the final illustrations by the end of March to allow time for any final adjustments and marketing deployment.

BUDGET: We've set aside a budget for our Easter marketing campaign, including content creation. We'd like to discuss your rates and find a setup that reflects the value you'll bring to this project.

We believe your art can not only enhance the visual appeal of our campaign but also help convey our message of sustainability and community in a fun and engaging way.

Share your thoughts on the project and tag me on Social Media!
